Pupils of Jumeirah College in Dubai were sent home early on Monday after a member of staff died on the school premises.

A spokesman for Gems Education, the developer that manages the school, confirmed the death on Monday morning.

“All relevant authorities were promptly called to the school and no pupil witnessed the incident," the spokesman said.
