Inside The National to air in a new time slot

Inside The National, broadcast from inside the newsroom of The National, will be shown in a new time slot and for the first time with Arabic subtitles from today.

Abu Dhabi // Inside The National, broadcast from inside the newsroom of The National, will be shown in a new time slot and for the first time with Arabic subtitles from today. Presented by Crispin Thorold, a former BBC foreign correspondent, the show will air on Abu Dhabi Al Emarat from Sunday to Thursday at 11.30pm and at 7am the following morning from Monday to Friday. The programme's executive producer, Matthew Sansom, said: "Moving to our new slots is the biggest compliment we could have been paid for our success to date. Broadcasting late at night then repeating first thing in the morning potentially doubles our audience."

Martin Newland, editorial director of The National, said: "Inside the National is an example of how a core brand - in this case the newspaper - can extend its influence to other platforms, increasing reach and opening new avenues for commercial and strategic exploitation." newsdesk@thenational.ae
