Sheikh Mohamed visits Al Ain's Emirati housing project at foot of Jebel Hafeet - in pictures
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince also visits Al Ain's tourist areas
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited Al Ain's tourist areas and residential and development projects on Thursday.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces began his tour at Green Mubazzarah, a natural landmark located at the foot of Jebel Hafeet, offering natural hot springs. Sheikh Mohamed then inspected a number of housing projects for Emiratis.
The Emirati housing development project at Jebel Hafeet will include 3,000 residential villas, covering an area of more than 4.5 million square metres with a wide range of amenities like school, health and recreational facilities and eight mosques located at the Western base of Jebel Hafeet.
Sheikh Mohamed also inspected the Al Ain's Fayda Lakes and visited the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre at Al Ain Zoo.
The centre has five interactive galleries - the Sheikh Zayed Tribute Hall, Abu Dhabi Desert Over Time, Abu Dhabi's Living World, People of the Desert, and Looking to the Future.
