DUBAI // The huge pace of development in the country means maximum effort must be made to conserve historical sites and building, says Rashad Bukash, former director of Architectural Heritage department at Dubai Municipality.
Mr Bukash will present a workshop on how best to do this from February 25 to 27 in Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood (formerly known as the Bastakiya).
Experts in the field of architectural heritage conservation, including Mr Bukash, will participate in different sessions to discuss various aspects of the subject.
