Al Ain residents saw heavy rain on Sunday as fresh winds heralded the arrival of clouds in the area.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said that more clouds will appear over some eastern and southern areas of the country on Monday.
The national weather centre and the storm centre shared videos of motorists driving on wet roads in parts of Al Ain.

Heavy showers accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds have also lashed Habshan in Al Dhafra area, in the west of the country.

The lowest temperature recorded over the country on Monday morning was 18.4°C in Al Dhaid at 6am.
