Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority’s exhibitions and events team has issued 30 warnings and two offences to food establishments that took part in around 45 exhibitions and events that took place in Abu Dhabi this year.
The warnings and offences were issued from the start of the year until now.
The authority’s deputy head of communication and community service, Ahmed Abdulkarim Al Sharaf, said the majority of issues involved unsafe health practices and the use of outdated or unsafe equipment.
