Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday inaugurated the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Academic Medical Centre in Dubai Healthcare City.
He toured classrooms and attended a lecture about dentistry before talking to medical students, observing them at work operating equipment and wishing them success.
Sheikh Mohammed also visited the intensive care unit dedicated to the care of premature infants and the maternity wards, where he was given an overview of the various procedures carried out.
At the end of his visit, he signed a painting by an Omani artist, Madani Al Bakri, as a recognition of the artist's contribution.
