Al Jalila Children’s hospital opens in Dubai
DUBAI // Children in need of hospital treatment can now use wide-ranging outpatient services at Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital in Zabeel 1.
Services there have now opened and are available from Sunday to Thursday, from 7.30am until 2.30pm.
The hospital has the capacity to care for more than 20,000 paediatric inpatients and more than 70,000 outpatient visits each year.
It has six dedicated centres of excellence: heart centre, neurosciences, a kidney centre, child and adolescent mental health services, a critical care centre and a cancer and blood disorders centre.
“Al Jalila Hospital perfectly reflects our foundation’s beliefs,” said Dr Abdulkareem Sultan Al Olama, chief executive of the foundation.
