Harley-Davidson Mena donates $30,000 to UN World Food Programme

The Middle East and Africa region of Harley-Davidson has donated US$30,000 (Dh 110,190) to the United Nations World Food Programme to feed school children in the region.

DUBAI // The Middle East and Africa region of Harley-Davidson has donated US$30,000 (Dh 110,190) to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to feed school children in the region.

The funds were gathered from 11 countries during an Open House session where riders from across the GCC and North Africa gathered between October 24-26 under the theme Come Together, Change Lives to support the UN programme for the third consecutive year, according to a company statement.

“We are proud to hand over this amount to WFP today,” said Elsa Abi Nader, marketing manager for Harley-Davidson MENA region.

“The Open House day was indeed a success and we thank everyone from the Mena region that made this event happen. We look forward to coming together and changing lives again next year in 2014 with more exciting new projects and bikes.”
