Russian President Vladimir Putin landed in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday for a state visit to the UAE.
Mr Putin landed in the capital at about 12.40pm aboard an Ilyushin 96 - the pride of the Russian fleet.
A red carpet led Mr Putin from the plane and was greeted by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The leaders headed to Qasr Al Watan for an official welcoming ceremony and talks.
