Abu Dhabi is set to host a series of virtual panel discussions and innovation talks as part of an event held annually during the United Nations General Assembly.

For the first time, the UAE’s capital will host the ‘Global Goals House’, which will take place from September 20 to September 24, alongside the 75th session of the UN General Assembly.

It will be held virtually from Hub71 and will bring together government leaders, industry, academia, culture and civil society experts.

On the last day, a live stream will be held from Abu Dhabi for a panel discussion titled ‘Will the Global Pandemic Fast-Track the HealthTech Revolution?’

Panelists from the World Health Organisation, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Abu Dhabi and other healthcare providers will take part in the discussion.

Other sessions during the Global Goals House will focus on the Black Lives Movement, investing in Africa’s female future, sustainable fashion industry, combating global hunger, among others.
