A vessel leased by the UAE Armed Forces was involved in what was described as an accident in Bab Al Mandab Strait off the coast of Yemen.
The accident occurred while the ship was returning from a routine voyage to the port of Aden, according to a statement from the Armed Forces General Command, published by Wam, the state news agency.
The Armed Forces said no one had been injured and that an investigation is under way to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
