The country’s Rulers and Crown Princes’ of each emirate attended an iftar reception at Qasr Al Watan on Wednesday.

The iftar was hosted by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, at the Abu Dhabi palace.

They exchanged best wishes for Ramadan and met several Sheikhs and senior state officials, reported state news agency Wam.

The iftar followed a meeting with President Sheikh Khalifa, with whom they exchanged well wishes and prayed for his health and prosperity for the UAE.

The leaders also congratulated the Armed Forces, calling them the country’s protectors and affirming that the UAE will never forget the sacrifices of those who fell in the line of duty.
