President Sheikh Khalifa sent a congratulatory cable to King Mohammed VI of Morocco ahead of Throne Day.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, dispatched similar cables to the king.
Throne Day is celebrated on July 30 to mark the king's accession to the throne. King Mohammed VI succeeded his father in 1999.
On Sunday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid tweeted his congratulations alongside a photo of himself and the Moroccan king saying: "Congratulations to King Mohammed VI on his 19th anniversary, an occasion in which we renew the bonds of love and friendship between our two peoples and renew the celebration of the march of renaissance in the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco, led by King Mohammed VI with all his might towards prosperity."

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed also congratulated the king saying: "It is a great occasion for us to share with the Moroccan people their joy in the march of progress and prosperity, which has been strengthened by the wise leadership and vision of King Mohammed VI."
