The UAE Cabinet held a meeting at Louvre Abu Dhabi, chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, on Monday.
"Today I presided over a Cabinet meeting in the most important new cultural landmark, Louvre Abu Dhabi, where East meets West," the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai said.
"From our capital, the capital of light Abu Dhabi, we launch a new vision for dialogue and an alliance of civilisations and no clashes or conflicts," he said.
During the meeting, the Cabinet congratulated President Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the Emirati people ahead of the UAE's 46th National Day.
"Our National Day is a precious occasion every year in which we celebrate our achievements," Sheikh Mohammed said.
"In it we honour our founders and look to a better and more beautiful future for our upcoming generations."
