Speaker of Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council to hold talks in UAE
Sheikh Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh will meet with Federal National Council speaker Dr Amal Al-Qubaisi during his trip
The speaker of Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council is visiting the UAE at the invitation of the Federal National Council.
Sheikh Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh will hold talks with the speaker of the FNC, Dr Amal Al-Qubaisi, and other members during his stay in the country, from February 16 to 20.
The FNC Speaker welcomed Dr. Abdullah and praised his efforts to strengthen ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Dr Al-Qubaisi said the tour reflects the strategic partnership and co-operation between the two countries and is representative of the existing dialogue, co-ordination and consultations between the FNC and Majlis ash-Shura.
She also welcomed the work of the Saudi-Emirati Parliamentary Fraternity Committee held recently at the FNC headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
Dr Abdullah was accompanied by a number of Shura Council members and officials on his arrival to the country.
