Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on Monday met with King Mohammed VI of Morocco in Abu Dhabi.
The two met at Qasr Al Bahar where they discussed the UAE and Morocco's "brotherly relationship" and ways to promote and strengthen ties, reported Wam.
Commenting on the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed took to Twitter to say: "I was delighted to meet with King Mohammed VI. Our nations continue to co-ordinate and consult for our mutual benefit.
"The UAE and Morocco have strong, historical and brotherly ties," he said. "We look forward to extending our co-operation to all fields."
King Mohammed VI praised the UAE for promoting inter-Arab co-operation.
The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
After the meeting, the pair were then joined by Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid, Ruler of Ajman, and Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid, Crown Prince of Ajman, to meet the UAE's Jiu-Jitsu team and congratulate them for winning nine medals at this year's Asian Games held in Indonesia.
