Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Wednesday received Ahmed Sohail Faris Al Mazrui, recipient of the Sword of Honour from Sandhurst Royal Military Academy in the United Kingdom.

Sheikh Mohammed congratulated Mr Al Mazrui on being recognised by one of the world's prominent military academies as the best international cadet and wished him success in his future professional life.

Mr Al Mazrui is the twin brother of Shamma Al Mazrui, who in February last year became the world’s youngest government minister when she was appointed the UAE's Minister of State for Youth.

Sheikh Mohammed also received Alia Al Ameri and Abdul Rahman Al Musa'abi, who were sent to McGill University in Canada as part of the McGill-UAE Fellowship, a partnership between the Court of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and the university, to develop Emirati capabilities in the fields of science and engineering.

Sheikh Mohammed praised the outstanding students of the UAE who contribute to the image of the country and the people. The students said they were honoured to meet Sheikh Mohammed and listen to his advice on the need to work hard to serve the country.
