Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid welcomes new UAE ambassadors - in pictures

The Vice President and Ruler of Dubai greeted ambassadors from nine countries at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid welcomed a delegation of new foreign ambassadors to the UAE at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi.

The Vice President and Ruler of Dubai received the credential of diplomatic figures representing Egypt, New Zealand, Czech Republic, Japan, Dominica, Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.

Sheikh Mohammed was joined at the ceremony by a number of UAE ministers, including Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, Dr Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, as well a number of other government officials.

Sheikh Mohammed extended a warm welcome to the visiting contingent, wishing them success in their efforts to forge closer links between their respective nations and the UAE.

The ambassadors relayed the greetings of their countries leaders to Sheikh Mohammed and UAE President, Sheikh Khalifa.
