Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid visited the new emir of Kuwait on Sunday to offer his condolences on the death of Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah.
The Vice President and Ruler of Dubai travelled to Kuwait to convey condolences on behalf of the President Sheikh Khalifa to Sheikh Nawaf.
He was accompanied by: Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Dr Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Dr Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed, chairman of the Dubai Aviation Authority.
The delegation arrived in Kuwait City on Sunday morning, when they were welcomed by Sheikh Nawaf and senior Kuwaiti officials.
They returned to the UAE on Sunday afternoon, Dubai Media Office reported.

Last week, Sheikh Mohammed congratulated Sheikh Nawaf after the new emir took the oath of office in Parliament.
"We pray for the success of Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al Sabah," Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.
"His humility, simplicity and closeness to his people are part of the values of the noble Al Sabah family.
"We wish well for the Kuwaiti people and their new leadership to continue on the path to glory, stability, safety and a good life."
Sheikh Nawaf pledged to advance and protect the country and its people, and affirmed his belief in Kuwait’s political system, its institutions and its constitution.
Sheikh Nawaf was crown prince to Sheikh Sabah, who died aged 91 last Tuesday in the US, where he was receiving medical treatment.
Sheikh Nawaf was named as the new leader by the Cabinet on Tuesday evening.
He pledged to work for the prosperity and stability of Gulf Arab states as he called for unity in the face of challenges.
