Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid visits Adipec
The Vice President and Ruler of Dubai was briefed on the latest developments in the industry at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid led a high-level delegation on the second day of the major international oil and gas conference in Abu Dhabi.
The Vice President and Ruler of Dubai was given an insight into the latest technologies being adopted by industry heavyweights during a tour of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference on Tuesday.
The landmark event, now in its 35th year, is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre until Friday.
This year's event has attracted more than 2,000 companies from 60 countries.
Dr Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of State and chief executive of Adnoc Group, briefed Sheikh Mohammed on offshore operations and the latest advances in oil production.
Sheikh Mohammed visited the pavilions of a number of companies, including Adnoc, BP and Total.
He was accompanied by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Industry and other senior officials.
Headlining this year’s event was Condoleezza Rice, former US Secretary of State in George W Bush’s administration.
