Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid meets with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman

The two discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, met with Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince on Sunday at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The two men discussed various ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between their respective countries.

The meeting came as Prince Mohammed tours the Gulf region, with visits to Bahrain, Egypt and Tunisia expected. The Saudi Press Agency confirmed on Sunday evening that Prince Salman had left the UAE to continue his tour.

He is also due to travel to Argentina to attend the G20 summit at the end of this month.

Prince Mohammed arrived in the UAE on Thursday and an official reception ceremony was held as he flew in to the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi.

The Saudi national anthem was played and he later met with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

He was also spotted posing for pictures with racegoers at Yas Marina Circuit over the weekend.

Among the posts circulating on social media was an image of Prince Mohammed alongside Mohammed Khashoggi, the nephew of the murdered Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Sheikh Mohammed was joined at the Grand Prix by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, the Crown Prince of Dubai, as they saw Lewis Hamilton take first place in an exciting race.
