A diplomatic delegation of UAE's new ambassadors have been sworn in before Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the new Emirati representatives in nations spanning Europe, Africa and the Middle East at a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi.

The Ruler of Dubai was joined at the official meeting by Dr Amal Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

Those taking the oath included the UAE Ambassador to Poland, Dr Abdul Rahim Yousef Al Awadhi, the UAE Ambassador to Jordan, Ahmed Ali Mohammed Al Balushi, the UAE Ambassador to Italy, Omar Obaid Mohammed Al Shamsi and Mansour Abdullah Khalfan Belhoul, the UAE Ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Sheikh Mohammed wished the newly-installed ambassadors success in the mission to serve their country overseas.

He urged them to help Emirati people travelling abroad to receive medical treatment, support students learning far from home, aid businessmen and UAE tourists during visits.
