Sheikh Mohamed receives a symbol of Sheikh Zayed's legacy from Yemeni official

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince receives a photograph of his father at the opening of Marib Dam, his gift of love to the people of Yemen

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received Sultan Al Burkani, Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, at a Sea Palace barza on Monday.

Mr Al Burkani gave Sheikh Mohamed a framed photograph of the day Sheikh Zayed shook his hand on a visit to Marib in Yemen on December 26, 1986.

The UAE Founding Father was visiting Yemen for the opening of Marib Dam, which he had funded for the people of the country.

Also on Monday, Sheikh Mohamed met the President of Gambia, Adama Barrow.

The pair discussed issues of mutual interest and ways to increase co-operation between the UAE and the West African country.
