Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed holds talks with senior UK defence envoy

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces met with Sir John Lorimer in the capital

Efforts to strengthen military ties between the UAE and the United Kingdom were on top of the agenda during a high-level meeting hosted by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces held talks with Lieutenant General Sir John Lorimer, the UK's senior defence adviser to the Middle East, at Beach Palace.

The two men also discussed regional and international affairs and issues of mutual interest to both nations.
