Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed capped off his incredible week on Thursday, enjoying some time out with his friends just a day after his wedding.

The Crown Prince of Dubai posted footage on Instagram of a gruelling night-time obstacle race in the city as well as images of a day at a wildlife sanctuary.

In his first social media post following his marriage to Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum on Wednesday, the 36-year-old shared a picture of four baby giraffes drinking at a watering hole at the Dubai wildlife park.

The Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, can be seen towering over the city’s skyline in the background of the image.

In the footage, taken from inside a stable block, he kisses the thoroughbred on the head and says “good girl”.

Sheikh Hamdan was married along with two of his brothers this week. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, 35, married Sheikha Maryam bint Butti Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, 32, married Sheikha Midya bint Dalmouj Al Maktoum.

In his final post on Thursday, the Crown Prince also shared a video of friends at an obstacle race called the Nas Night Challenge in Dubai.

He can be heard willing competitors on as they climb over high walls and duck through tunnels filled with water.
