Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of RAK, led the funeral prayers for Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, at Sheikh Zayed Mosque in RAK on Sunday.

The mourners offered condolences to Sheikh Saud and the elders of Al Qawasim tribe. Among them were Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, and the crown prince, Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla.

The Ruler of Ajman, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi and the Crown Prince, Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid also offered their condolences while visiting the mourning majlis in Khuzam.

Sheikh Saud also received condolences from Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud Al Mualla, Vice President of the Executive Council of Umm Al Quwain Government, and a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.

A host of Sheikhs also accepted condolences alongside the Sheikh Saud, reported Wam.

Three days of official mourning was declared in Ras Al Khaimah beginning Monday, July 2.
