DUBAI // Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed will be the keynote speakers at the Global Women’s Forum in Dubai next month.

“The strong participation at the forum reflects the UAE’s leading position on a global level,” said Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed, President of the UAE Gender Balance Council as well as the Dubai Women Establishment. “The forum will highlight the achievements of Emirati and Arab women across various fields.”

Mona Al Marri, chairwoman of the Dubai Women Establishment and vice president of the UAE Gender Balance Council, said that hosting the event in Dubai recognised the vision of the leadership and efforts to strengthen women’s roles and capabilities.

“It also reflects the importance our leadership has placed on giving women the opportunities they need to develop their careers,” she said.

The forum will take place on February 23 and 24 at the Madinat Jumeirah hotel in Dubai.
