The Ministry of Public Works approved eight improvement projects worth Dh440 million for roads and government buildings in Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.
Work on the design and plans is ongoing for the projects, which include three new road schemes and two projects for the Ministry of Health, two for the Ministry of Interior in RAK, and one for the Ministry of Labour in UAQ.
Yousuf Abdullah, director of the Ministry of Public Works project planning department, said the vital projects were part of plans to implement the UAE Vision 2021.
