Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and French president talk in phone call

The two men discussed regional affairs and ways to strengthen the friendship between their countries

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received a phone call from the president of France on Saturday.

Sheikh Mohamed and Emmanuel Macron spoke about ways to strengthen the strong friendship between the UAE and France and their peoples, state news agency Wam reported.

The two men exchanged views on the latest regional and global developments, stressing the importance of joint co-ordination and international efforts to enhance security and stability in the region.

Sheikh Mohamed last visited France on an official visit in November 2018, when discussions on economic investment and culture were held.

The Crown Prince visited the Louvre and met Emirati students who attend French universities.
