Crown Prince greets Saudi delegation
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, on Thursday received a high-level delegation from Saudi Arabia.
Sheikh Mohammed, also Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, welcomed Saudi foreign affairs minister Prince Saud Al Faisal, intelligence chief Prince Khalid bin Bandar, and interior minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef.
He passed on the greetings of the President, Sheikh Khalifa, and expressed pride in the fraternal relations between the two countries.
Prince Saud conveyed greetings from King Abdullah and wishes for the good health and well-being of the President, and continued progress for the people of the UAE.
Sheikh Mohammed said he valued the vision of King Abdullah for the future, stability and development of the region at a critical time.
The two sides discussed ways of developing and enhancing their close relations, common strategic interests, their desire to support GCC joint action, and helping the peoples of GCC countries to face any looming challenges.
They also spoke of current developments and ways to cooperate to support the security and the stability of the region.
At the meeting were Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed, Deputy National Security Adviser.
Also present was Dr Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
