ABU DHABI // The bodies of two men killed in a military helicopter crash in Yemen have arrived at Abu Dhabi Executive Airport in Al Bateen to a special reception.

Pilots Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, 34, and Abdullah Al Yamahi, 26, were among the UAE forces taking part in the Arab coalition’s Operation Restoring Hope, led by Saudi Arabia to back the legimate government in Yemen, reported state news agency Wam.

Senior officers from the the General Command of the Armed Forces welcomed the bodies of the servicemen, which were brought home by a military aircraft.

In a statement on Monday, the General Command extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the two men.
