The Astana International Financial Centre was officially inaugurated on Thursday in the presence of Kazakhstan president Nursultan Nazarbayev, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The UAE delegation included Dr Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Suhail  Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Industry, Sultan Al Dhaheri, Minister of Justice, Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Dr Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chairman of Executive Affairs Authority, and Dr Mohammed Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to Kazakhstan.

Earlier the UAE delegation met a number of Emirati students learning at universities and institutes in the country.

Sheikh Mohammed said that Emirati students abroad play the role of "state ambassadors" in conveying the UAE's cultural image to other peoples and countries.

He said the UAE will spare no effort in providing support to help students achieve their goals and ambitions in obtaining the highest academic degrees and acquiring advanced skills and experiences.
