22nd Conference of Arab Culture Ministers to be held in UAE

Gathering aims to preserve Arab heritage and promote its importance.

The UAE will host the 22nd Conference of Arab Culture Ministers in 2020, the Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development has announced.

Noura Al Kaabi said the gathering represented an important opportunity to showcase Arab culture.

The session will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation (ALECSO) and the UAE’s hosting of Expo 2020 in Dubai.

The Conference of Arab Culture Ministers aims to preserve Arab heritage while promoting its importance.

“The UAE is developing a detailed agenda to promote the importance of cultural and creative industries as a major driver of economies, employment and comprehensive development,” Ms Al Kaabi said.
