During the holy month, the generosity of God reaches the sky and earth and everywhere. The gates of Jannah (heaven) are wide open to receive our duas (prayers), and the gates of Jahanam (hell) are closed, so we are protected and assured that our good deeds will receive double credit, because there is less temptation from Satan. This generosity also reaches out to those who pass away during Ramadan. When people die during the holy month and were known for their good deeds, pure intentions and strong faith, they are considered blessed.

Muslims always pray to God to grant us the husn al khatimah, or a good conclusion to one's life.
