A 5-year-old girl has died after falling from the 24th floor of a building in Sharjah.
The tragedy happened in Al Buhaira on Sunday when the child fell from a window in her parents' apartment.
Police said the youngster, who has not been named, had been climbing on furniture just before the accident happened.
Officers confirmed she was not home alone at the time of the incident, but would not provide further details.
