Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad, Crown Prince of Fujairah, has married the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, according to an announcement on WAM, the state press agency. The wedding took place yesterday in the Madhab area and was attended by dignitaries from Fujairah and Dubai as well as tribal leaders from other emirates and a large public contingent.
The celebration included traditional music and dances including Youlah, a traditional victory dance in which men throw swords and weapons in the air then catch them while dancing. relass@thenational.ae
