ABU DHABI // Two died and five were injured in fog-related traffic accidents today, as conditions prompted police to temporarily ban lorries from entering the city.
An Asian woman was killed after a car hit her on Corniche Road, while an Asian lorry driver was killed after a crash near to Emirates Roundabout.
Col Khamees Ishaq, the deputy of traffic police, said the department had banned lorries from entering the city until the fog cleared. He said traffic patrols would be increased until then.
