Five airlifted to safety after Al Gharbia accidents

Five people, including a baby girl, were airlifted to safety by the Abu Dhabi Air Wing after three seperate car accidents in the Al Gharbia region.

Five people, including a baby girl, were airlifted to safety by the Abu Dhabi Air Wing after three seperate car accidents in the Al Gharbia region.

In the first incident, the operations department received a call about a critical medical case that required the transfer of a two-year-old girl from Delma Island hospital to Khalifa hospital after she was injured in a car accident with her family in Al Gharbia.

The second case involved a 16-year-old Emirati boy who suffered a number of fractures as a result of a car accident on Hameem bridge. He was airlifted to Al Mafraq hospital.

In the third operation, the air wing's plane located three European tourists whose vehicle had been stuck in sand dunes in Liwa in the Asab region for five hours.

They were located and transferred to Zayed hospital in Al Gharbia to receive medical care.
