A fire broke out at a roastery in Ajman on Tuesday morning.
The fire began at 9am and Civil Defence teams were immediately called to the site.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze within minutes, said Brig Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, director of the general department for Ajman Civil Defence.
“They managed to control the fire quickly and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring factories and shops,” said Brig Al Shamsi.
No injuries were reported and cooling operations have been completed, he said.
The site was referred to Ajman Police to investigate the cause.
Brig Al Shamsi urged factory and workshop-owners to adhere to proper storage regulations to ensure the safety of their employees and avoid such incidents.
