"The park is secure for guests to continue to enjoy the various activities and entertainment shows today until 12am."

Social media users posted their concern online after spotting smoke coming from the area.

"Something has happened at Global Village. Fire and smoke," said another Twitter user, Aisha.

It is the second fire at the festival park, with one having broken out in front of a pavilion in December 2017.

The two pavilions adjacent to the site of the fire were evacuated to ensure the safety of visitors and reopened within the hour.
