A father and son appeared at Abu Dhabi Criminal Court yesterday after a high-speed chase with police.
The son, AH, 19, was driving his father, SH, both Emiratis, to a hotel when they were asked to pull over.
The father told his son to keep going, and when they were eventually stopped the father started fighting with the officers.
He faces charges of drug and alcohol consumption, while his son appeared for traffic offences.
The case was adjourned.
