SHARJAH //A man has been arrested in Ajman while trying to flee the country after his bosses at a money exchange in Khorfakhan called in auditors to investigate missing funds.
Police said they suspect the man feared the audit would expose his embezzling scheme.
Before fleeing, police said the suspect took another Dh35,000 from the company, which they recovered when they arrested him.
Two other men, both from Bangladesh, were arrested for aiding his escape. One man had agreed to transport the fugitive to Ajman, while the other organised a new Sim card for his phone.
