Dubai looks likely to escape the showers on Wednesday, with sun and clear skies expected for the whole day.
In Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, clear skies and sunshine are expected until about lunch time, after which there will be some cloud cover with gentle breeze for the rest of the day.
In Dubai, the temperature is expected to reach up to 34°C, again with sunny intervals over the afternoon.
But not all of the UAE will avoid rain on Tuesday. Showers are expected in the north-west of the country, including in Sila, Darma, Ruwais and Abu Al Abyad.
The day’s temperature will range between lows of 21°C and highs of 36°C in Abu Dhabi, 22°C to 34°C in Dubai, 22°C to 33°C in Sharjah, 21°C to 33°C in Ras Al Khaimah and 24°C to 30°C in Fujairah.
Strong winds of up to 55 kilometres per hour will blow sand and dust until 9pm.
