The good news is that September is on the horizon and people can expect a slight but steady drop in temperatures.
But summer is not over yet. It will be hot and hazy across the UAE on Thursday, forecasters say.
The humidity is also set to increase by the evening and into Friday morning, the National Centre of Meteorology said.
Humidity levels could reach 85 per cent on the coast, 75 per cent inland and even 65 per cent in the mountains.
Temperatures could peak at 45°C in some parts of the country, while lows of 25°C are forecast.
An increase in clouds in the east as the day progresses is expected.
The Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman, meanwhile, are expected to be reasonably calm.
