It might be July but there's still a slim chance of rain over parts of the UAE on Sunday, forecasters have said. Cloud cover over eastern areas will build by the afternoon and convective clouds could make an appearance.

But it's also going to very hot - and temperatures could reach a sizzling 48°C in the interior, while the lowest temperatures will be 23°C in the mountains.

The hazy conditions affecting parts of the UAE, meanwhile, are set to continue into the next few days, according to the National Centre of Meteorology. Winds are set to be light to moderate, and could kick up dust storms over some exposed areas.

The NCM also forecast the sea conditions to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in the Sea of Oman.
