Temperatures in the UAE are rising with forecasters describing conditions as 'generally hot'.

It will also be fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times.

Mid-morning temperatures reached 35.1°C in Abu Dhabi, with 47% relative humidity.

The highest temperature recorded over the country yesterday reached 47.4°C in Mezaira at 3.45pm.

Light to moderate winds will arrive in the afternoon and may cause dusty conditions over some exposed areas.

Those who had a fishing trip or yacht cruise in mind, it will be safe to do so; the sea movement has been announced as slight to moderate in both the Sea of Oman and the Arabian Gulf.
