The UAE is set for continued dusty conditions with hints of cloud at times on Tuesday, and temperatures are expected to drop significantly in most areas.

Temperatures are expected to range between 20°C and 29°C in Abu Dhabi, much lower than Monday when 38°C was recorded by the National Centre for Meteorology.

Temperatures in Dubai meanwhile are expected to be between 22°C and 30°C.

Winds will blow in a north-westerly direction on Tuesday, reaching up to 65kph in mountain regions, 60kph by the coast and 45kph inland.

The winds will batter the sea and cause dust storms, the waether bureau said.

Conditions will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf, and moderate but becoming rough by noon in the Sea of Oman.

Sandstorms are expected to persist on Wednesday, with temperatures to drop slightly again.
