Forecasters are warning of a risk of rain, mist and fog over the coming days as humidity climbs.

The UAE’s weather bureau said showers and patches of mist and fog are expected up until Saturday over scattered areas of the country.

Early on Tuesday, the National Centre of Meteorology warned of fog over Al Ain Airport, Sharjah Airport and the Maleha district of Sharjah.

The fog was expected to clear later to leave a partly sunny day, with scattered cloud over the sea and north of the country and a probability of rain in the far north.

On Wednesday, it will be a humid start to the day in some areas inland, becoming partly sunny with the possibility of rain in the east.

Thursday will be humid again over some internal areas. There will be a mix of clear skies and cloud with a chance of rain.

On Friday, there is a further chance of showers accompanied with cloud on the coast and in northern areas.

Saturday carries a further risk of mist and fog. It will be partly sunny to cloudy over western and coastal areas with a chance of light rain.
