UAE weather: residents wake up to fog covering parts of the country
Relative humidity is set to rise, with more chances for fog or mist formation.
Residents woke up to fog over Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah this morning, along with patches around Al Maktoum Airport.
Visibility was down to 800 metres in some parts, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology ( NCMS).
It urged people to be on alert and comply with advice issued by authorities.
The weather is set to be largely warm over the country during the day, turning to moderate by evening along with some cloud formation over the eastern areas of the country.
Winds will be light to moderate in general, freshening at times during afternoon, the NCMS said.
However, the relative humidity is set to rise by the evening and early morning over most coastal and internal areas, with more chances for fog or mist formation.
Maximum temperatures could reach 44C in internal areas and as low as 19C in the same regions.
The Arabian Sea and Oman Sea are set to be slight to moderate.
